These terms apply to the services provided by Psychic Wisdom ("I", "me", "my"), operated by Janis Gibson of Redcliffe, Queensland, and to your use of this website.
1. Services
I provide readings, healings, past life regression, courses and workshops, in person, by telephone or online. The specific service, duration, price and payment method are agreed with you directly before any session takes place.
2. Nature of the services — please read
My services are provided for personal insight, guidance and wellbeing. They are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and nothing I say should be treated as such. If you have a medical or psychological concern, please consult a qualified practitioner.
No particular outcome, prediction or result is guaranteed. You remain responsible for your own decisions and actions.
3. Age
Services are available to people aged 18 and over. Readings for a person under 18 are only given with the consent and presence of a parent or guardian.
4. Bookings, payment and cancellation
Bookings are made by telephone. I prefer to speak with you before a booking so that we can agree the service, the time and the price together. A booking is confirmed once we have spoken and any required payment or deposit has been received.
If you need to change or cancel an appointment, please let me know as early as you can.
I do not require a deposit for bookings made directly with me.
Where a reading is booked through a venue or event host, that venue's own booking, deposit and cancellation terms apply.
5. Courses
Course modules are released weekly and remain yours to keep. Course materials are for your personal use only and may not be copied, shared, resold or taught to others without my written permission.
Courses are paid for in advance. Course access expires twelve months from the date of purchase, and may be transferred to another person.
I do not offer refunds for change of mind once a course has been purchased. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which are set out in section 8 and cannot be excluded.
6. Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers are available for all services.
Vouchers are valid for three years from the date of purchase. The expiry date is shown on the voucher. Vouchers may be given to, or used by, someone else.
No fee is charged after purchase that reduces the value of a voucher.
7. Intellectual property
The content of this website and of all course and workshop materials — text, images, recordings and worksheets — belongs to me unless stated otherwise, and may not be reproduced without permission.
8. Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, my liability for any claim arising from a service is limited to resupplying the service or refunding the amount you paid for it.
10. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you book applies to that booking.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
